- I Lost My Brag Mat!
  
  If your brag mat does not arrive in time, or you lost it, do not panic. Write your angler number on a piece of cardboard in black pen and use a Fisheries-style measuring sticker (available at your local tackle store) to measure your fish. Then photograph your fish following the competition rules.

- WA Species
  
  There will be a boat-based species for tropical waters in northern Western Australia. The remaining species will be central/southern based.

Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

Pirtek Fishing Challenge 2009 We are delighted to have the support of Pirtek Fluid Systems and their national network of 88 Service and Supply locations via the Pirtek National Fishing Challenge.

We are thrilled to have this initiative as an opportunity to remind men there is a 1 in 5 chance of contracting prostate cancer by the age of 85.

There are an estimated 18,700 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed each year and with more than 2,900 tragically losing their fight against the disease – its impact is felt throughout the wider community, including wives, partners, children, grandchildren, friends and colleagues.

The funds provided by Pirtek to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia will help continue vital work in the fight against prostate cancer. We also hope it will act as a reminder to Australian men, Pirtek Fishing Challenge 2009 particularly those aged 50 years and over, to talk to their doctor about prostate cancer.

Pedal for Prostate 2010 – 15 May 2010 – 28 May 2010

Pedal for Prostate 2010, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia’s Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle Challenge will raise funds for awareness and support activities and resources for those affected by prostate cancer in WA.
