It was great to see fishing clubs from each State get behind the JVC Club Challenge. Those clubs who made the effort to get their members together and have a day’s fishing for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia are to be congratulated. Unfortunately we can only reward one winner in each State, except for NSW/ACT where we have two fantastic JVC camcorders to give away. The competition was very tight in some States and hopefully we can develop this rivalry for next year’s Challenge.

On behalf of Pirtek Fluid Systems and our associate sponsors Evinrude, Lowrance, Berkley, LG Electronics, Nissan and JVC we would like to thank everybody who has taken part in the 2010 Pirtek Fishing Challenge.
Sunday, 11 April has seen almost 2,500 anglers from all over Australia – mums, dads, kids and grandparents – chase 17 species from Golden Perch to Barramundi in a one-day fishing challenge unlike any other competition. I’m not sure how the weather has worked out for everybody, but looking out the office window on the central coast of NSW I know where I would rather be.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your day out fishing and thank you for helping us support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia in raising awareness and funding.
Check out a few photos which have been submitted from Sunday’s fishing and don’t forget even if you didn’t catch a fish you are still in the draw to win the terrific TV and home theatre system from LG or the Hotham Alpine Resort ski trip courtesy of Nissan.
A special thanks to the fishing clubs who got behind the JVC Club Challenge and we look forward to announcing the winners.
Cheers,
Michael Guest
